Hookah Whisperer

Social Smoke Apricot

by admin on Jul.29, 2010, under Shisha, Shisha Reviews, Videos

Good Morning Hookah Whisperers!

This is a flavor that I should be able to pick out with my nasalry sensetivitationalness! I get a little sweetness, but more the flavor of a dried apricot rather than a nice juicy apricot. The flavor does develop over time, but the flavor didn’t quite match up to the Al Fakher.

Good flavor overall, but not a great apricot flavor. A worthwhile smoke if you like a fruity blend.

Losing My Hookah Mojo-Not a Chance!

by admin on Jul.28, 2010, under About Us, News, Shisha

Good Morning Again Hookah Whisperer’s!

Happy!

Remember the other day when I thought I was losing my taste for hookah? I just couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t tasting right and just wasn’t satisfying me anymore. Well, I figured it out.

Two things: One, I used my hookah to the point that it had just had enough. This one hookah was used at least 500 times and I think it just gave up the fight. Second, I was smoking way too much. Once I backed down to a max of twice a day, I started getting the satisfaction that I used to get with each smoke.

So, be not dismayed, I am back and enjoying the smoke once again!

Fusion Exotic Papaya

by admin on Jul.28, 2010, under Shisha, Shisha Reviews, Videos

Good Morning Hookah Whisperers!

This was an interesting flavor for me in that Papaya is a very elusive flavor for me. I really didn’t like the smell of the tobacco, but enjoyed the smoke, as you will see. A sweet fruity flavor, but if it is Papaya, I wouldn’t know. Exotic fruit yes, exactly Papaya, who knows. Keep your eye on Fusion, though. They seem to be moving up in quality and consistency. Enjoy the video.

So, what do you think. Any big Papaya eaters out there that want to chime in on the discussion? Overall, a decent smoke, not just an everyday flavor for me.

Losing My Taste For Hookah?! Can’t Be!

by admin on Jul.26, 2010, under About Us, Shisha, Videos

Good Afternoon Hookah Whisperers!

These last couple of nights have been a real roller coaster ride for me. Since Friday night, I have had some sort of Body Filter”, for lack of a better term, that is making my Hookah not taste strong enough or right in any way? Has anyone else ever experienced this? It is the weirdest feeling. It’s like my body is filtering out all of the flavor, buzz, and contentment that I usually get from smoking my hookah.

For those of you that are thinking it is my rig, I switched out my regular rig and tried a different one. I tried different shishas! Nothing is working! I am seriously worried that I have wounded my taste buds or sinuses and that I may never enjoy the taste of AF grape with mint again.

I am going home right now to light up and see if anything has changed. I have not smoked for almost twenty four hours, so this should be a good time to give it a try. I am very interested to know if any of you have experienced anything like this before. Please post any thoughts or ideas you might have.

This next video is from Saturday morning after a smoking session. Obviously, I was really bored. Tell me what you think and I hope you enjoy it.

Well, is that just a shame or what. I have so much extra skin on my face, if there is a strong wind, it actually lifts me off the ground!

by admin on Jul.23, 2010, under Shisha, Shisha Reviews, Videos

Good Morning Hookah Whisperers!

Layalina today for a change. And wow, what a flavor. I really didn’t expect this flavor to be so great! This is a really, really great flavor! Layalina is hit and miss for me sometimes, but they hit this one right on the mark. It couldn’t possibly taste more like a margarita. You even get a hint of the saltiness when you smoke. Watch the video and see what you think. I hope you enjoy it.

See what I mean. I don’t get excited often, but this flavor really took me by surprise. Definitely go out and pick up a tub of this. You will not be disappointed. Remember, if you like what you see here, spread the word for me. I am on Twitter, Facebook, Xomba, Vodpod and Youtube as well…just look for Hookah Whisperer! Thanks.

LED Bike Light and LED Multi-Color Umbrella!

by admin on Jul.22, 2010, under Videos

Hey Hookah Whisperers!

I wanted to show you a couple of items we are now selling on our Ebay and Amazon Stores. I think they are pretty cool, so we made some videos! The first is an LED light you put on the wheels of your bike. The second is an LED umbrella. Early in the movie Blade Runner, you see people walking through the dark streets with these. I hope you enjoy the videos!

Aren’t those cool! Anyway, thanks for watching.

Starbuzz Exotic Tropical Fruit

by admin on Jul.22, 2010, under Shisha, Shisha Reviews, Videos

Good Afternoon Hookah Whisperers!

Starbuzz is always a treat to review. They have such an interesting approach to their flavor combinations, especially when you have a mix of many different tangible fruits! Sometimes the way they name their shisha is a bit confusing, like Blue Mist, or Fuzzy Naval. This one is pretty straight forward so it isn’t as hard to decipher the flavor blend. I hope you enjoy the video.

So, there you have it. I personally find this one to be a pleasing taste, but the flavors could use a little better balance.

Express Yourself! Examiner.com!

by admin on Jul.22, 2010, under About Us, News

Good Morning Hookah Whisperers!

I just wanted to put this out again for all of you writers-in-hiding. I am a writer in my spare time, yeah I didn’t think I had any either, for Examiner.com and absolutely love it. F I can do it, anyone can, so if you love to write or you are currently writing or contributing to a blog, check this out! I have laid out the steps to do this below. Good luck to all of you that pursue this exciting path!

1) Go to examiner.com.

2) In the top banner, there is a “change city” button. If the city that is showing is not the city/area you would like to write for, click that button and change the city.

3) In the top panel on the right-hand side, click “write for us.”

4) You will see a list of open writing opportunities.

5) Click on one that interests you, and select it. This will take you to the next page, which is “personal information.”

6) At the bottom of this page, you will find a box that says, “How did you hear about Examiner.com?” Remember to put in either my “Examiner ID” which is 48850 OR search “Mark Ringenberg” under “Examiner Name.”

7) Once my name comes up in the search results, click on it and it will name me as your referrer. (After you become an examiner, you will see how this can increase your income and help you increase your readership).

8) Click the “next” button at the bottom and tell them a little about your experience on the next page. (This can be any type of life experience and how it will relate to you writing about your topic.)

9) At the bottom of this page, click “next” and it will take you to the writing sample

10) If you already have a blog, use some of your previous posts as evidence for your writing abilities and experience. (If not, write about something your are comfortable writing about – preferably something relating to the examiner area for which you are applying)

* Usually the sign up process takes approximately 30 minutes, and they will review your application quickly because they are in dire need of new writers

After 2 and a half months, I am starting to see some income and know that I made the right choice in applying to be an examiner. I also really love writing (especially when it relates to something I thoroughly enjoy), and this gives me the opportunity to get paid for doing something I would do regardless. I am happy to say that writing for “The Examiner” is a blast, and hopefully you will have the same positive experience.

Social Smoke Blush-Different Strokes…

by admin on Jul.21, 2010, under Shisha, Shisha Reviews, Videos

Good Afternoon Hookah Whisperers!

Today’s review is the perfect time to discuss different reviews and different tastes. We all taste things differently. We all have different preferences in the food we eat. So, why would shisha be any different? I watched Capt. Howdy’s video before I wrote this today, just to see what he thought of the flavor. Like me, Sambooka, HookahJohn, and Mushrat, he has tasted many, many, many, many, many shisha, and I really respect his point of view.

He LOVED this one! He couldn’t say enough about the complexity of flavor, the blend and such. I respect that. I just don’t like florals, and that is the predominant taste I got when I smoked this.

So, the moral of the story is: You have to try these flavors yourself to see if you really like them. Watch our reviews to get an idea of what is out there, and maybe a general idea of what direction the flavor is going. But you really can’t tell about a flavor until you smoke it with Home Court Advantage, on your own rig!
