Good Morning Hookah Whisperers!

So today I thought I would just let you know what is on my mind. Ordinarily, not much. I try to live by the following credo, if you will: Go to bed knowing less than you knew when you awoke. It seems to be working for me, but I wouldn’t recommend this for John Q. Public.(This is Rudolf, not JQP)

Today what is on my mind is the trials of trying to get my Hookah Whisperer retail website off the ground. The product is ordered and is on the way, but there are many things still pressing to get done. I am trying to make this truly a great site, with everything for the hookah enthusiast, so it is a great deal of work. I am also trying to get the customer service team in place so I can compete with the likes of Hookahjohn and The Hookah Company.

I would love to hear any suggestions for the retail site from all of you. It would truly mean a lot to get your feedback. So, let it roll: What can I do to make this a great site for all of you Hookah lovers!?

Okay, we’re big kids, let’s be honest. None of us clean our hookahs properly as often as we should. I mean, yeah, we rinse them, swirl some soap in the base, run hot water through the stem. But how often do we take the time to clean them properly?

Well, I smoke alone for the most part, so I don’t worry about germs from others. But I have been hearing from more and people about the spread of germs through hookah use, so better safe than sorry, huh? Take care of yourself and your friends and wash those hookahs. This video is one I did a while back. I am going to update this one and some others very soon, so keep your eyes peeled. I hope the video is helpful.

So, clean those hookahs for the sake of the Centers for Disease Control!

Today starts the most beloved annual tradition in Northern Indiana for many people…the Blueberry Festival in Plymouth, Indiana! This is a festival that draws nearly a million people to a town of 10,000 every year over Labor Day. If you know Northern Indiana, you know that that means there will be at least a half million teeth, entering the gates. Yes, the English language will receive a severe beating, but this is the Heartland, so we will look the other way.

The best part about this festival is that this is not the hotbed for Blueberry farms. In fact, I don’t know of any in town! It is just a great excuse to get together in a very crowded space and gorge ourselves on Smoked Turkey Legs, deep fried everything, and of course Funnel cakes. This is also the only chance I get yearly to use a Porta-John, and I wouldn’t miss that for the world!

So, in honor of this great event, I am inviting any of you in the area to come have a smoke with me. Just respond to this post with an email or send me a personal message on YouTube and I will give you directions to where we can meet. I hope that many of you will be available. Maybe we’ll even review some shisha!

The elusive 360 strikes again! I have found a bit more of this stuff locally, so here goes. This is a unique combo, one which I have not found very readily in other brands. Although I like both of these flavors individually, the orange really overpowers this mix. The smoke is very surprising and much better than I expected. Watch the video and give all of us your thoughts.

See what I mean? If you like citrus, this is probably a good one for you. I am a big citrus fan, but the flavors ends much too soon on this for me. I think that is because of the quality of the tobacco to begin with. But, give it a try…but if you do, only buy a 50 to start.

Today, I look at one of the elusive berry flavors from Social Smoke. Their berry flavors are outstanding and I call them elusive, because they seem to disappear from my stash frequently. This one is Blackberry and truly catches the flavor of a Blackberry. It’s like popping a ripe Blackberry in your mouth. Watch the video and share your thoughts!

Al Amir. What an awesome name! I wish I had been named that. I don’t know what it translates as, but I love the sound of it. ” Hello…my name is Al Amir…perhaps you have heard of me.” Anyway, back to topic. Today I review Al Amir Pomegranate shisha. As you will see in the video, the smoke was great. It looks like I am having a great smoke if you turn the sound down. Sadly, the flavor just wasn’t there. I have yet to find an Al Amir flavor that I am going to buy again. That is sad for me, because I love the name. “Hello…my name is Al Amir…perhaps I should spend more time on my shisha making and less time on being sexy.”

Today I offer up my take on Fusion Exotic Hawaiian Mist. This smells like a tropical fruit blend, pretty strong at that. The flavor though was a bit on the weak side, as was the smoke. I had been saying in other recent videos reviewing Fusion, that I thought they had started a move to be a more upscale brand. This one doesn’t strike me in that same way. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Well, there you have it. Not great, but not bad. Give it a try and see what you think.

Closing up the week, I thought I would end it on a Social Smoke flavor, just the way we started the week out. As I stated in the video, this is a very strong mint flavor, as the “Chill” would imply. Since I have made this video, I have become a much bigger fan of mint. So, now I really like this flavor even more! So I would probably go 8.5 as my rating at this point. Watch the video and see what you think.

So there, did I make my point strongly enough? If you like mints, you will like Social Smoke’s Wild Berry Mint…I guarantee it. This is one I really like and I highly recommend it to all. Give this one a try!

Here is a great example of a review that is honest and true, and also fair and riveting. How’s that for confusing the issue? This is a well thought out and executed flavor. It hits tropical fruit square on the head. Do I love this flavor…no. But, they did what they said they would do, I got what I thought I would get, and for that I applaud them. While not my favorite, it is a great hit for those of you who enjoy coconut, pineapple and tropical flavors. See what you think. Enjoy the video.
