Social Smoke Sour Apple

Good Afternoon All!

I haven’t reviewed a Social Smoke flavor in a while, so I thought I would give Sour Apple a try. The label on this product is from a production batch, so ignore it. I am not usually a fan of the sour or sweet flavors, but this one was quite enticing. Take a look at the video and see what you think.

This is a pretty great flavor and I would highly recommend it. You can get it at Buyhookah at a pretty great price. They also ship fast too. Until next time, remember: Life is too short to smoke cheap shisha!

Fantasia Cuban Mojito

Good afternoon all!

As you may have noticed lately, I have been expanding my view of shishas. I have decided that there must be other brands out there that I have tried, but not enough to get a good taste for their overall product. Fantasia is a perfect example of this. I have been such a snob over the years that I discount the shisha that I believe is of a lesser quality. Once again, Fantasia is a perfect example of this.

For some reason, I have it in my head that this is not as high quality of product as say StarBuzz, Al Fakher, or Social Smoke. Maybe it is because of the fact that it can be purchased at cigarette stores, I am not sure. What I do know is that I have not been fair to this brand.

This weekend I tried the Cuban Mojito. Wow! This has an amazing flavor to it. Very Limey and you can almost taste the alcohol, it is such a good match! There is an ever so slight mint hit at the very end, making the finish quite unique. The cut is a very small clean cut, and the moistness of the tobacco is fabulous. I think it may be a bit too moist, but I think they package it this way knowing it may be sitting on a shelf in a cigarette store for quite some time. Having said that, I have never had any of the fantasia that I have bought be dry in any way.

This is a really good flavor and I recommend you give it a go. Until next time, remember: Life is too short to smoke cheap shisha!

Jewels Strawberry Shisha Review

Good afternoon all!

Today I am reviewing one of the shishas that I usually don’t review. I have spoken to so many people over the last couple of years that say I am way off base the way I trash some of the cheaper brands of shisha. So I thought I would go out and give a few of them a try.

Now, granted, I can be a bit of a shisha snob when it comes to what I smoke. I have a couple of preferred brands, namely, Al Fakher and Social Smoke. I have tried many, many brands and these are the ones that I always come back to. They have stood the test of time in my time in smoking them. Also, granted, I can afford to drop a couple hundred bucks on shisha each month. But what if my budget were cut back to under fifty bucks a month. What would I buy then?

Which leads me to today’s review. I went to my local cigarette store that sells Fantasia and Jewels. I bought a 50G of Strawberry Jewels for $2.29. It smelled great and I thought, what the heck, let’s give it a go. This is not the first time I have tried Jewels, but I have never been impressed with the overall smoking experience. This time, I decided to approach it from the standpoint of it was all I could afford.

I used my regular rig and a couple of Three Kings 40′s to get it rolling. And I must say, this was not a bad smoke. The flavor was definitely strawberry and the smoke was plenty thick. It was definitely a bit more harsh than the other brands I mentioned, but I expected that because at this price, the quality of the tobacco won’t be as good. But, the flavor of this particular one was dead on strawberry, and more than I expected I would enjoy. The only complaint I have is that at the finish, there was a bit of an ammonia taste, very slight, but still noticeable.

Overall, this was much better than I envisioned it would be. I don’t know that I will make a habit of smoking this brand, but in a pinch, I could do worse. So, if you are on a tight budget, give this a try. Not too shabby.

Social Smoke The Edge

Good Afternoon Everybody!

Once again, I am a little stuck on Social Smoke. Today, we take a look at my first look at Social Smoke The Edge. It is a very complex set of flavors, but I definitely got a strong pineapple out of it. Take a look and see what you think.

Social Smokes Tiger’s Blood: Tastes Like Charlie Sheen

Good afternoon all!

Now how could I possibly pass that up? I mean, he just lobbed that one out there to me and I had to swing. Anyway, this is a really cool flavor and I hope it is one you will try. Kind of elusive in taste, but well worth the trip. Enjoy!
