Al Amir. What an awesome name! I wish I had been named that. I don’t know what it translates as, but I love the sound of it. ” Hello…my name is Al Amir…perhaps you have heard of me.” Anyway, back to topic. Today I review Al Amir Pomegranate shisha. As you will see in the video, the smoke was great. It looks like I am having a great smoke if you turn the sound down. Sadly, the flavor just wasn’t there. I have yet to find an Al Amir flavor that I am going to buy again. That is sad for me, because I love the name. “Hello…my name is Al Amir…perhaps I should spend more time on my shisha making and less time on being sexy.”

Today I am pleased to offer up Fusion Platinum Ocean Mist. Sadly I was not as satisfied with the smoking of this product. As I say in the video, if ever there was a shisha that had Blue Mist flavor envy, it is Fusion Platinum Ocean Mist. It is really obvious that that is the goal here…to be like Blue Mist. They are pretty close, but I will stick with my Starbuzz Blue Mist. Watch the video and see what you think.

Did I over play my disappointment? I just think that if you are going to go after someone elses product flavor, GO AFTER IT! Don’t jack around and come out with some half-baked version of a classic.

Today I truly abandon the norm for a real treat. I don’t know this guy, but this video is awesome! So many parodies of songs are just crap and have no production quality.

Today I just wanted to have a little fun with some pictures from my trip to Las Vegas. In the hotel we were staying in was a Star Trek convention. These people really take this stuff seriously, and I have to give them credit. The costumes and the likenesses were really remarkable!

Some of the characters I wasn’t exactly sure of, as I am not a huge fan. I am a fan, don’t get me wrong, but this group of fans have forgotten more about the series than I will ever know.

So, I hope you enjoy the pics, and if anyone would like to chime in on the characters and their stories, please feel free. Just so there is no mistake…I know which one is Jean Luc Picard!

Incidentally, Spock’s family gambling was just to great to pass up.

Today I bring you glad tidings from the Olive Mediterranean Restaurant and Hookah Lounge, home of Cuzzins Hookah Products. I visited this hookah lounge on the recommendation of one of our readers. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I found.

First of all, the place is huge! It has five VIP tents and seating for probably another 100. I was there on a Monday night around 6pm and there were around forty people smoking hookah already. The atmosphere is Middle Eastern with live music, magic shows, and belly dancer’s, depending on what night you visit.

This is also the home of Cuzzins brand shisha. They make there own shisha and currently sell over fifty different flavors, mostly in the west and in parts of Utah. Their flavors are outstanding and last a long time in the bowl. I smoked four flavors that night and was impressed by all of them. I will definitely be selling this brand as it is an answer to the gap I am feeling in the market. The prices are between 7.99-8.99 for a 125G so it is truly a great value.

I highly recommend visiting this hookah lounge when you are in the Las Vegas area. Just ask for Nick and Jay and they will welcome you into their hookah family. Truly a Las Vegas “must see”!

Wow, is it great to be back! I have been on the road for over two weeks with vacation and a conference in Vegas, and man I am glad to be back to the office for some normal day to day. I had a great conference in Vegas and will be showing some cool new stuff, including new brands of shisha, in the next few weeks. I thought today I would just share a few photos of the strip and put in a teaser for this afternoons post. Let me just say two words: Star…Trek!

Good Morning Again Hookah Whisperer’s!

Happy!

Remember the other day when I thought I was losing my taste for hookah? I just couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t tasting right and just wasn’t satisfying me anymore. Well, I figured it out.

Two things: One, I used my hookah to the point that it had just had enough. This one hookah was used at least 500 times and I think it just gave up the fight. Second, I was smoking way too much. Once I backed down to a max of twice a day, I started getting the satisfaction that I used to get with each smoke.

So, be not dismayed, I am back and enjoying the smoke once again!
