Al Fakher Mint Flavor Shisha Video Review…Time well spent!

Good Morning Hookah Whisperers!

Wow! What a great job I have! Especially on the days I get to review Al Fakher. It’s really getting hard to find words to say about the quality and consistency of this product. How do you improve on perfection? Every time I smoke this stuff, meaning all Al Fakher, I just get more impressed. With one noticeable exception; Al Fakher Bubblegum flavor. I just can’t get to the point that it tastes good to me. But, that is just my personal preference, or lack thereof.

So please enjoy my video review of Al Fakher Mint Flavor.

The Egyptian Hookah Lounge-Broad Ripple Indiana. Very Nice!

Good Morning Hookah Whisperers!

Today I get to do one of my favorite things, and that is, review a hookah bar. I like this because, I must have had a smoke at the place, and that is always a good thing!

When you first step into the Egyptian in Broad Ripple, you feel like, well, you’re in Broad Ripple. Maybe a bit eccentric, but different and trendy, and that’s okay.
According to their website, www.theegyptianindy.com, “Many elements are modeled off the most famous coffee shop in Egypt, “El Fishawy”. “El Fishawy” is located in the Khan El-Khalili district in Old Cairo and has been running 24 hours a day since 1773. It has been frequented by many generations of famous Egyptian artists and writers.”

The decor is a combination of Egyptian painting on the walls, much like hieroglyphs, and some very comfortable leather chairs and pillowed benches. This makes for a casual, yet upscale experience for dining alone, or with Hookah. The last time I went to the Egyptian, I had two bowls. First I had Al Fakher Grape with Mint. This was a delight because I love the stuff. The hookah servers are nice and very pleasant, but they could spend a bit more time on heat management. You do have to ask them to move your coals because they don’t give you tongs, which is somewhat annoying. The second bowl was Al Fakher Lemon with Mint and was equally as good, all but for the heat management. Overall, they do a pretty good job serving hookah. They may need to hire some additional day help though if the crowds continue to grow.

Their food menu is diverse and offers selections from the following categories: Appetizers, Salads, Sandwiches, Kabobs, Desserts, and of course, Hookah. Some of the featured items are their, Lamb Kabob, their Chicken Souvlaki, and of course their Hummus and Falafel Pita Wrap.

The Hummus and Pita bread is absolutely to die for! It is rich and creamy and melts in your mouth with a very pleasant lingering taste that keeps you wanting more. This is best followed by a Falafel Pita wrap, which is beautifully served and tastes like you are actually eating it from a street vendor on the streets of Egypt!

It is located at 6265 Carrollton Ave in Broad Ripple. Give it a try, you will be more than impressed…you’ll be satisfied and smiling!

Hydro Red Lightning Strawberry Herbal Shisha Video Review!

Good Morning Hookah Whisperers!

Well, here I am at it again. Why do I put myself through this everyday? Why do I subject myself to herbal tobaccos? Because I love you guys and you know it. And I am willing to lay down my lungs for a half hour every once in a while to get the job done! I need to farm these out to Capt. Howdy or Click267(Frank) to at least get an unbiased perspective. I just haven’t found an herbal that gives me the flavor and kick and sustainability that I need in a shisha!

The smoke on this one wasn’t too bad, but the flavor just was so weak, it barely made an impression on me. So, if you like herbals, maybe give this a try, it’s just not my cup of tea.

Starbuzz Exotic Fuzzy Navel! Peach With a Punch!

Good Afternoon Hookah Whisperers!

I thought I’d send out another post for today and review a really good shisha flavour that I really quite enjoy. (Now I will stop speaking like a British Sissy-Nanny). This shisha is Starbuzz Exotic Fuzzy Navel. According to a bartender friend of mine, the best Fuzzy Navel is made by taking some Peach Schnapps and add some Orange Juice in a highball glass. Smelling the shisha immediately brought to mind the flavors I remember of Fuzzy Navels in my youth(over 21). The smoke was impressive as well, more of an Al Fakher smoke, so I was truly impressed. The flavor was right on, so give this one a try if you haven’t already.
